Found some jump wings which are said to be authentic from ww2. Any help would be appreciated.

Bought this very nice 60th Infantry Regiment helmet set at Ciney. Named to a Major Weaver but no officer ASN present. Love the liner! All painted decals, period good under the microscope. Insignia on shell is thickly applied and what remains also looks great under lights.  Anyone have a ww2 roster for the regiment? Or maybe you had this one in your collection before and have some info to share.  The dealer had it on consignment from a Dutch collector, not much info forthcoming.

A few others for reference and discussion:  Variations of 38th Div. MP Co. (Both styles were worn.)    42nd MP Co.    North Carolina    Variations of 26th Div. (Mass.) and 27th Div. (NY)    Iowa, North Dakota and Michigan (Michigan may have been used by the post-WW2 46th Inf. Div.)    40th Infantry/Armored Div. (Post-WW2, the 40th was expanded to include elements from Montana (L) and Idaho (R), which were then added.

What's the black measured boxes you have your pins displayed on? I REALLY like the look of that. I'm guessing you put them on there to make a reference pic? Smart man!

. Hi erarlymb   That's a great photo of an early Slat-Grille sadly I have never seen it before ( I shall be passing it on to several friends with Slat-Grilles )   There's a lot of interesting detail in the shot, the clothing the mechanics are wearing first pattern HBT belted jacket on the left, the coat front blue denim set the soldier on the right is wearing. The two mechanics kneeling down washing out the oil filter body in a cut down barrel with handles brazed onto the sides.  On the wing the early bakelite insulators, pity the boxes of the new spark plugs are at an angle it's impossible to see the make.    The Jeep is still without an added wing blackout-out lamp, but it has the taller windscreen, wooden not rubber blocks on the hood, a vacuum wiper fitted to the drivers side and a long-stem mirror support and lots of other interesting detail for Slat-Grille owners.     Norman D.
