Hello, As the title says, I’m trying to locate, if it even exists, a roster or list of US recipients of the Tunisian Order of Glory in relation to a ribbon bar I’ve recently added. The research I’ve done so far to track one down has shown sparse results, with only two mentioned names- General Eisenhower and LTC Albert Dewey (it is not attributed to Ike by default and the latter was an almost exact match except the bar I acquired shows WWI service, and Dewey was born in 1916). if anyone knows where I could find a website or source, it would be super helpful! I’ve attached a picture of the ribbon bar in question at the bottom of this post. -

If it came out of the wood work I believe it belonged to the guy and isn’t a put together, but very likely not his “combat” helmet. Still an AWSOME helmet and IDing it would be great. -

The paint looks off, like way off, it looks glossy and the insignia has nearly no wear, or selective wear. It may be a post war ceremonial type helmet, or a repaint. -

Hello everyone, I’ve finally decided to get into reenacting, and I was planning on getting started with my first impression. I’m particularly interested in portraying a rifleman from the 34th Infantry Division, 100th Infantry Battalion in Italy, ‘43-’44 (Salerno, Benevento, Anzio, Monte Cassino, etc.). So far in terms of gear list, I’ve got: -M1 Helmet -M41 Jacket -Trousers, Wool, Serge, OD, Light Shade (M1937) -Shirt, Wool, OD, EM, M37 (Not sure if the unit would’ve been issued the later “closed collar” shirts by Italy.) -M1938 Gators -Rough Out Shoes -M1923 Cartridge Belt -M1910 Cover, Canteen, Dismounted -M1942 First Aid Packet Pouch -M1928 Haversack (Or suspenders?) I’m currently reading up on the unit’s history, but I was wondering if anybody could recommend any resources or knowledge that could assist in portraying this unit accurately? From what I could gather, there are potentially many small differences between units, and I want to get this right. I apologize for the rather broad question. Very new to all of this and a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information out there. -

Could you post better pics of the cover? Tight pics around the slits. I like the liner, what is the date stamp on the sweatband. Also better pics of the pot, what is the heat treat number. I'm thinking the pot was married to the liner. -

Better pictures please. Detailed on the liner and pot. I'm not sure if its your camera. but the color looks off and glossy. I am not seeing things I like other than the green snaps on the sweatband and age to the leather. The helmet chinstrap that I can see looks good. -
