USNR / VP-871 (1st) "Korea". Deployed to NAS Atsugi, Japan Oct 1951- Jul 1952 w/Det A at Kimpo (K-14) AB, ROK Oct 1951- Mar 1952. "CH" tail code P4Y-2/-2S "Privateer" sea surveillance and "Lamplighter" flare missions in support of USMC night interdiction. This one belonged to Aviation Electronics Technician "A.S.". Made in Occupied Japan "Golden Star".

Co., New Britain, Conn. L - on top lip of base - M. S. Little Mfg. Co., Hartford, Conn. R - on top lip of base - Risdon Tool & Machine Co., Naugatuck, Conn. R - on bottom lip of base - Raymond Engineering Corp., New York, NY. *You had a picture of a magazine with an "R" stamped on the bottom and referred to it as a Risdon. Risdon only stamped the R on the top of the toe. An R on the bottom is a rare Raymond engineering mag. (rarest Colt mag).
