You'll want to get some unbuffered acid free paper in between the photo and whatever is behind it, usually something acidic. Plus, there's sometimes other stuff in the frame, other photos or documents, parts of a poster cut down for the material. Plus you could clean the glass and add some kind of UV filter to the front of the glass.

This seems to be a tough one to pin down.  In M9 Bayonet the authorized version by Richard Neyman, it does not show a black bladed version of the wire cutter CUK.  It only shows a couple of the first prototypes which were handmade. The book mentions that the wire cutter version was quickly abandoned.    On a great website: http://www.m9m4.com/pages/m9-bayonet-collection-survival-knives.cfm?currentpage=15   it shows a few E&E/CUK knives, but they do not have a wire cutter. I would think you have a very rare knife. Marv

Dad hated that man for at least 40 years. HM Smith relieved Dad’s 27th Army Infantry Division commander General Ralph Smith in the middle of the battle of Saipan. Ralph Smith was much respected by the men of the division and they were outraged at HM. Most of the scholars seem to agree that HM Smith unjustly relieved R Smith. mikie

I'm completing my SSI collection, and am running across official looking patches from eBay sellers I've never seen before and no one else seems to have.  The unit names sound legit enough, but where can I look to see it's it's an actual approved SSI?

The same seller also has a Service Pilot wing in this pattern but it is even more expensive.   https://www.ebay.com/itm/267074139153?itmmeta=01JTSD8EDXM49Y9XTEAD5TC67H&hash=item3e2edbf411

I've used Evapo-Rust on many occasions without any issues with existing paint. Pretty good stuff.
