USS O'HARE - Gearing class destroyer named for Lieutenant Commander Edward "Butch" O'Hare, Medal of Honor recipient, who was shot down at Tarawa on 27 November 1943.

Yes it's Navy & not a patch...

A couple from the 309th Tactical Fighter Squadron. One is US made and the other I beleive made in Thailand during their late war deplyment there.

A total Duck up! But to confirm, yes the one on the right is Thai made, F-100 era. Still nice ones. You could start a DD thread, I'm sure there's a ton out there.

what's everyone think of this one?

Recently picked this up and hadn't seen it before. Guessing it might be from a signal training school? The way Bugs is looking up to the sky over his shoulder made me wonder if there might be some Air Corps connection as well. About 9" high so large enough to be a jacket patch or maybe from a pennant or pillow cover?
