all1knew Posted November 12, 2024 #38 Posted November 12, 2024 what's everyone think of this one? WWII USAAF 486th Bomb Squadron, 340th Bombardment Group, 12th Air Force Patch. Decal on leather. Size: 5 1/4" Provenance: Lifetime Military Memorabilia & Arms Collection of Peter L. Knepton (1956-2023 | Savannah, Georgia) Good original for everybody? William Kramer
Siamundo Posted November 14, 2025 #39 Posted November 14, 2025 Recently picked this up and hadn't seen it before. Guessing it might be from a signal training school? The way Bugs is looking up to the sky over his shoulder made me wonder if there might be some Air Corps connection as well. About 9" high so large enough to be a jacket patch or maybe from a pennant or pillow cover?
