Ok ok not crushers… but a cool save

 

Found this pile of green pancakes. In a storage shed… most are Regulation Army Officers Service Cap labeled

one is a Society Brand and one is a Stetson

 

the SB cleaned up nice. It’s the one with the badge and chin strap, added by me…. and is a great size, they are all 7 3/8 and one 7 5/8

 

all have the rear hook for the rear chin strap, found mainly on USAAF caps..

 

most are moth nipped.. the SB is in very good shape. The Stetson is in decent shape…

The Society Brand was in the same, flat, dusty condition, it was in the mix.

 

a little cleaning and few parts, it’s a keeper

The Stetson with a Luxenburg badge and NOS front chin strap

the Stetson before “resto” is in the upper right in the pile of caps

Great job of cleaning them up.  The Stetson looks great now!
