I have this early 1950s PQMD guidon for "A" Co., 815th Heavy Tank BN. The tag is in the lower sleeve like early Cavalry guidons manufactured by the PQMD.

Did this unit see any action during the Korean War? I can't find any information on this unit other than the 815th TD BN from WWII.

Thank you for any help.

Does anyone have a link to a unit history for this Tank Battalion?

What book is available with a complete unit histories of the US Army from WWI through today? Does one exist?

Thank you for your time.

If u r going to collect DIs, try the James Sawicki series - I used Tank Bns of the US Army. Drawings are in B & W but the lineages are there, It ain't all on the internet and it ain't all correct on the internet, either.
