dcollector Posted December 29, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2021 Those are Quality Street Chocolates in the FS pic, they were a gift from my daughters. Hadn't intended to oil all the blades, but in the chocolate induced sugar rush it seemed like a good idea, lol. Have a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR and happy collecting. I have a small collection of wartime FS daggers, but I will pick up a US dagger if the price is right, and I like it. So they accumulate by accident. I know there are far larger and more comprehensive and important collections here, just sharing for fun and because I like looking at collections, feel free to post your own collections as a reply. (Yeah, there's one post WW2 and a an Italian and an Aussie in there, too...) And the British, too.

Charlie Flick Posted December 30, 2021 Share #6 Posted December 30, 2021 A marvelous bunch o' blades, and ones that have obviously been well cared for over the years. Good advice, too! Charlie
SKIPH Posted December 30, 2021 Share #7 Posted December 30, 2021 dcollector- Great F-S collection, along with your US blades. Thanks for showing. I too oil them down annually, found that LSA lasts longer, and is designed for humid weather conditions ; ie NC. SKIP
dcollector Posted December 30, 2021 Author Share #8 Posted December 30, 2021 Thanks guys. Figuring out how to trade a few of the 2nd's and 3rd's for a couple more first pattern FS daggers. What I have is not as specialized a collection as I would prefer. I like the old LSA, too, I do use Frog Lube, on these, provides a really good protective layer.
