Just magnificent Tod. These are the wings of most unique and lasting fascination with me, the theater made, one of a kind designs brought forth by men who wanted exactly that pinned to their chest, a one of a kind wing. Thanks for bringing this magnificent piece to the thread!

The last wing Tod shared was part of an incredible grouping from a long-serving veteran.  I believe from the ribbons and other insignia on the uniform along with this wing that the uniform was from the Korean War timeframe.  I think there was another standard issue Aircrew wing in the grouping.  The seller was asking five figures for the grouping.
