ive seen boots, a beret, and a rifle in the last week. soon there will be a whole bronze uniform!

I've seen this done to a ww2 US Visor but never a beret looks great

Oddly enough, I think I have actually heard of this being done. Sort of a retirement thing....

This is mine that was given to me by my girlfriend when I was Commander of the HHC, USAIMA, Ft. Bragg in 1978. My 1st Sgt took it from my desk one fine morning and passed it on to her. which forced me to rush to the PX to buy another, caught hell during that short 1 hr period walking around Bragg without a cover. She had it bronzed somewhere in Fayetteville, NC.

Nice pieces thanks for posting. Was always curious as to why the bronzing process did not destroy the item? Or is a cast made?
