Not sure if this insignia is really WW2 authentic. Appears to be on of the british made IMHO.

I originally went to see if they had the small 3" AVG above the right breast pocket insignia in their collection but they did not. I only stopped here for 20 minutes so I apologize for the blurry photos. This gives you an idea of what is real and what is out there. I love the AVG silk and bullion patches.

I never saw your thread until now, probably because it's hard after so many months of travel-work to get back to the hobby. But, but, but ,but this visit in 2014 of yours to the San Diego Museum was really worth it. Thank you for sharing your pictures from your tour!!!

 

Wonderful, estupendo. I want to wake up one morning having dreamed the Museum was full up and had to auction these to usmilitariaforum members only. Hahahahahahhehehehe.
