doyler Posted August 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2014 I recently purchased this sweater and it was found on a rack of uniforms buried in with a lot of BDUs and non descript ikes and uniforms from various eras. Not the best of condition as there are several holes from moths but these are very tough item of Air Corps clothing to find. This is the third one I have seen over the years and the fist I have ever owned.Nice full lable, working zipper and a size 44.Makes a nice display item under an A2 with a wool scarf. doyler Posted August 19, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted August 19, 2014 That's a helluva find Ron! Only ever seen one in reference books. Thanks Ian $15 well spent but the cost of the trip takes all the fun out of it Its very dusty. The thing needs to be cleaned.I may try to do a light hand wash in woollite..When you handle it the dirt just flys out of it. JDK Posted August 19, 2014 Share #9 Posted August 19, 2014 Very nice find! I've always wanted a nice C-2 sweater. The prices they fetch when they are in nice shape and a larger size are usually pretty stiff! JD
