Thanks for the comments, Lance. The Airborne tab is also theater made. It has a cut edge and you can see white fabric beneath it.

Litho Special Forces uniforms

This a great picture for so many reasons. Thanks for sharing and I'm assuming you guys were working with the Iraqi 36th Commandos.

Here is a close up of the camo pattern that 5thsfg542 posted above. The pattern was used by the Iraqi 36th Commandoes, Iraqi Special Forces, and by their US Special Forces advisors (limited usage). It was made in Lithuania. This uniform was also brought back by a US advisor.

 

There are apparently two different colorations of this uniform. The more subdued camo pattern is an earlier piece. The brighter pattern is a later issue.

Here's my favorite. The 2nd Ranger Battalion Tab was made in Iraq. FYI - I was not an Army Ranger. I was merely a U.S. Marine. I rescued this jacket (w/trousers) from a local thrift store.
