vintageproductions Posted May 2, 2013 #1 Posted May 2, 2013 I was very excited when I opened this box this morning. This is an Iraqi POW uniform, that was worn by Americans they captured. Also included is a image of USAF Capt. William Andrews, wearing a similar set.
Allan H. Posted May 2, 2013 #2 Posted May 2, 2013 Great pick-up Bob! Gives a whole new spin to the "Story of Old Yeller Pants!" Allan
RustyCanteen Posted May 2, 2013 #3 Posted May 2, 2013 Cool, I think that's the first time I've ever seen one.
Nkomo Posted May 2, 2013 #4 Posted May 2, 2013 GREAT set, Bob. Your set is the second one I've seen. The other set is in my personal collection.
vintageproductions Posted May 2, 2013 Author #5 Posted May 2, 2013 Arch, does yours have PW on both sides of the chest? All the images I have found only show it on one side... Allen your right but I don't think this persons story would be as funny as old yeller pants.....
vintageproductions Posted May 3, 2013 Author #9 Posted May 3, 2013 Another photo of this type suit being worn.
Nkomo Posted May 4, 2013 #10 Posted May 4, 2013 Without digging it out, I think mine only has the one PW on the chest. Incredibly rare set, Bob. Congratulations.
vintageproductions Posted May 4, 2013 Author #11 Posted May 4, 2013 Wait until I post the other one that came in the same box.
easterneagle87 Posted May 20, 2013 #13 Posted May 20, 2013 Another photo of this type suit being worn. femalepow.jpg This is a shot MAJ Rhonda Cornum. Now Ret. BG. I had one of my flight physicals signed off by her prior to the 90-91 Gulf War.
