36-tex Posted January 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2013 I just bought these on ebay. I am very happy with them. U.S. Army corporal and sgt. chevrons that is the woven style produced by the Kirsner Textile School in Philly.

jmar Posted January 21, 2013 Share #7 Posted January 21, 2013 Hi 36-Tex, These are really nice, the first I've ever seen! Do they have the same satin feel as the Bevo WWII German cloth insignia? They look very similar in construction. Thank you for showing them! Great post! Joe

36-tex Posted January 26, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted January 26, 2013 Hi 36-Tex, These are really nice, the first I've ever seen! Do they have the same satin feel as the Bevo WWII German cloth insignia? They look very similar in construction. Thank you for showing them! Great post! Joe Joe, I would not say they have a "satin" feel to them. The are not smooth like a German Bevo, but a rougher cotton twill feel. I have been looking for some of these for my collection for years. I think I first heard about them 15 plus years ago. When I did see some for sale, the asking price was to high (IMHO).
firefighter Posted January 26, 2013 Share #11 Posted January 26, 2013 I take it these are WW2 era stripes? Army, Marine or both?
