A blued CASE....NICE!!! :D

I sold off most of my M3's but kept this one as a good example of a blade marked version. It has nice deeply struck markings and I couldn't bear to part with it.

:D Your mint specimen excellent as well, like manufactured yesterday.

BTW -- from today's perspective is blued Case M3 more rare than parkerized one? Does anybody know the proportions between blued and parkerized runs of the Case-made M3s?

Best regards

High gloss blued M3's are much rarer than their parkerized counterparts. How much rarer? I doubt anybody can give you an exact figure. But with your knife it's already a CASE and there's somebody about CASE knives that attract collectors.

Yet another Case 1943 blade-marked M3 with M6 scabbard. Might not be mint, but there again it was only £60 for the set when they were costing £250+ everywhere else....

M3 case, blade marked but with a "strange" handle. I saw it before but was this knife used in the ETO?

Bob, how do you get so many pictures on one send and still stay inside the 150K range?

guys--- a word of caution, never store you blades in the scabboards. if there is dampness or moisture they will rust.

Hi Guys

sorry to but in on this discussion, pleasre forgive me, I am new to forum( also com.) and could not find how to post question!!

I am an F-S collector, not dealer, in England(over 100) mainly WW2 issue. However I have started collecting M-3s (nice knife)

I have just picked up a Robeson Cutlery knive which is in dire nedd of some TLC AND a COMPLETE SET OF HANDLE WASHERS, is there anywhere you know I can get them, do they come in a ready made set, do I need to "cut" them down or "profile" them to fit??

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated, onec again my apologied for this way of asking.

I supposed I will either get my arse kicked now or advised as to the best way of 'posting' a question.

Thanks
