I have one as well, and it has so far eluded ID. Many have seen it, including a lot of the more knowledgeable guys, but no luck.

They show up on ebay fairly often.one just sold in a small patch lot with some air force stripes.

Same patch, from that grouping Ron. Thought I could at least double my money. 

 

I was wondering if it was a Douglas Aircraft test patch....but it's funny how a patch that pops up fairly often can be so illusive. I found it on an ASMIC anglefire page as unidentified.

That's funny, but true! There are several like this that are common enough that everyone has seen them, but no one knows what they are.

At Paloma show and vendor had one. Said he had the chance to buy a grouping. Late 40s or earl 50s, four digit west coast Air Force unit is what he remember. He had one for sale.
