268th C.A. Posted June 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 14, 2017 Found this today at an antique mall. Two headed Crow or Buzzard. Last group to fly B-29's. Four B-29's assigned to the squadron. They flew until they could no longer scavenge parts for the B-29's. They were envolved in training Radar Operator's to detect incoming aircraft. Back of picture states last Four B-29's in the Air force. List all squad members. Most of the time it was a struggle just to keep one flying! Nice Japanese made patch. Last flight 1961. I was surprised to see all the names on the back.
