These are a couple of interesting bringbacks from a former US Army Public Affairs Officer serving on the Korean DMZ. This armband is for a North Korean member of the Press: And this armband is for a South Korean member of the Press: -

I want you to look at the red ovals that I have put on this wing and a known original. Note that on the top wing that the edge is smooth and completely lacks detail where the known original has feather details going clear to the edge. Additionally, the lines on all of the individual feathers are far more pronounced on the known original. While I didn’t post photos of the back sides of each wing, the known original has a very sharp edge all around the wing. The wing in question has a soft look to it like the edge is melted or worn. These are not what you want to see. I hope this helps. Allan -

Just to pump a bit of life back into this thread. As is usually the case I was deep into the NA archives looking for something totally unrelated when I tripped over this: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/75889 It's the ship-to-ship transfer of German PWs with some decent shots of a MAA (a Chief by the looks of it) shield in action, taking custody of the PWs as they cross-deck. The two wings in my possession are considered to be original pieces. They weight 18 grams each and measure just over 3 inches in length... Regards to all, Dominique -

Its a bit difficult to see, but you mean a white base with the five blue triangles on that? -
By M-1Helmet.com · Posted
Indeed. Yes, the red is on the blue. The blue base is only an oval. But the red is an intricate stencil and you need to know well what to cut from he carton to get the desired effect. -

Not a Liberty cuff, but here is an interesting interior back plate on a jumper currently listed on PoshMark. Additionally, it has a bullion enlisted submariners water wings on the chest. -
