Third post in a row! Two CAB recipients. 7th Signal Brigade with a 2005 contract date, possibly missing the former overseas service patch. 300th Sustainment Brigade (approved in 2007, moved to TX from PA in 2009) with a Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command former overseas patch. -

Agreed, Jean-Loup’s channel is one of the only militaria related channels I’m subscribed to and actually look forward to seeing new stuff from. Superb research and presentation. A shame with the videos being stolen and posted in other places without permission though. I would imagine that’s pretty frustrating. -

I think they were supposed to be forest green but you see a range of colors that probably varies with each manufacturing run. I do see them brown like you have. Typical. -

They are hard to find! Those zipper are so unique. One of these just went for over $500 on eBay a couple weeks ago. -

I think that is the earlier and rarer MP38 versus and MP40 with the milled flutes on the "tube".
