I am getting close to making the move into retirement, I hate to downsize but am exploring selling of my huge collection. I have many offers for piece sales, but would like “ all or nothing”, very hard to find one buyer.

. Hi earlymb,   Sorry to hear that the oil filter assembly needed some work, but you were able to remedy that.   Pleased to see several of the rarer parts on show, the straight tube dipstick, the unvented cross-over tube to the carburettor, the longer length breathing tube for the side of the block, early intake manifold, etc.     Thanks for the latest post detailing the progress, it's marvellous the dedication working with such limited garage space.    Norman D. I will add, one of my 120mm casings is for the AA Stratosphere Gun , the other for the tank gun. I doubt I will ever find the AA projectile, but who knows?

Aye...when I was young, many people stayed away from "named" medals because "who wants a used medal???" 🤯 (This is a no-kidding story too...the first time I found US medals "in the wild" at a coin shop, this is exactly what the owner told me. "I don't even buy medals with names engraved on them when they come in. No one wants used medals".)

Unrelated to the actual Jeep part, but yesterday was also VERY hot out. Reached 96 degrees (F, not C), record heat for 6/21 EVER. 1910 was the old record at 95 degrees (Also F). That's really hot for a place that got to -60 degrees F less than 30 years ago.

. A happy time for a long term Jeeping friend.   One of my Jeeping friend from the early 1970's became ill with the on-set of Muscular Dystrophy stating at his feet and rising up through his legs , as he became more unable to use his legs for driving he sold off his collection of US wartime military vehicles.  At the time his god-son was far too young and still at school, however the godson has left school and built a successful business, he has been tracking all the vehicles that were sold off and buying them for his own collection which pleases my old Jeeping friend.  So far he has traced and bought a Willys MB, a Ford GPW a Willys Jeep trailer and a post war Willy's pick-up truck and the latest missing acquisition he took to a military vehicle show in the UK this weekend, it's a long wheel base, closed cab GMC rarer model tipper truck version.       Norman D. I picked this up this morning at the Sunday flea market. He was priced at $150 firm so I bought it. Seems to be in great condition except for a few garage paint sprinkles on the sheath 😁. Funny thing as I was walking away, another vendor said I paid way too much as he said he had bought one at a gunshow for $35. I asked him if he'd sell his for $150 as I'd buy it but of course he declined! Here it is mounted on my 1942 SA rifle:

If it's signed by Tojo or the Emperor of Japan it's a CB made flag. It is well worth what you paid for it.
