Parkerization of pistols at Remington Rand began around June-August of 1943. My Type 2 pistol is Du-lite blue, while my Type 3 is parkerized. -

Remington rand wasn't parkerized. They had a Dulite finish. It looks ok from the photos. It appears to be a type 3 slide, so late War. If it was cleaned a lot in service, that heat treating look would disappear with time. -

I agree with tarheeltim that it looks reparked, however, I'd like to see a close-up picture of the ordnance stamp on the upper right rear of the frame. -
