Oh, it's authentic alright. As far as value goes it's just what someone would be willing to pay for it. By itself, it has nominal value but with some provenance the value would most likely increase. Also, an item like this might be worth more to a person that collects Kansas military items. This person has a wonderful military history behind him and his service. You'll see what I mean in a second. Most likely a CIC gun. The OSS did not get 2-inch Commandos, nor did the Post Office--they had 2-inch Bankers Specials and S&W Terriers. -

Hello... Trying to figure out what a value might be on these two items. One of them I think is a labeling kit for military aircraft but can't find any information about a value.... The other item in the yellow box, I think is for inflating large tires and the valve is marked (US military property) both items came from the estate of a retired Coast guard mechanic... Thanks -

I absolutely love 225Qs as well and I agree with you that they're under appreciated. They're just a real SOLID built knife with a thick blade. I really like the one shown above and these are my other favorites (below) that you've shown. Just my personal likes. I especially like the red handled one. -
