Wow that’s awesome! I would have never thought that it would be a whole molded piece. Looks really realistic as well. Nice find 👍 -

The British are known for a wonderful dry sense of humor, but the backside of an elephant would be a bit much. Yes, the 27th used [the side view] of an elephant as their mascot (their first aircraft was the Martinsyde G.100 "Elephant"), but there were others as well. Likely not "Nellie" given the backside viewpoint (non-RAF?), but if you contact the RAF (below) they may be of help identifying the insignia. https://www.raf.mod.uk/our-organisation/squadrons/ -

Right, if it is the NDSM, it will date the photo to around that time 53-54. -

Saw this for sale. I love these older patches, but what unit does it represent? T-Y in advance. -

I don't have a copy at hand but Stanton's UNIFORMS OF THE VIETNAM WAR has some good pics of this uniform being worn. -

Received this today. A prop holster and gun as used in Saving Private Ryan. It’s all molded rubber and looks so incredibly real. This is the first of these that I have seen. I saw and owned the rifles, bayonets and helmets but never a pistol rig. I really enjoy collecting props and own several. This ranks pretty high on my like list. Thanks for looking. -
