Nice buckle above.   Went on a tangent when I saw a new posting in the topic: Uniforms of the 'Blue Water' Navy 1960's-1980's Cold War - Vietnam Era and saw these photos attributed by forum member sigsaye. Sure appear to be Philipp made buckles to me. I only went down a few pages, but it is amazing what you will see when you start looking ... or paying attention to the details, no matter how obscure they are. I just wish we could tell what the buckles actually said.  Fist photo: guy on far right. Second photo: guy on left.

Things have been a little slow in the Sacramento area but this weekend things took a turn for the better.  I believe the Enfield is an import, maybe Confederate, I don’t know. My favorite is the trench art canteen.
