Been awhile since I posted anything. I was finding very little militaria but a number of vintage airguns and other things. Was also moving out much of the surplus stuff I had been trying to get rid of for some time in the process, too. So, will be traveling lite to the bi-annual Phoenix Militaria event next Saturday. Pictured is a mixed bag of militaria from the past six weeks, which either came from a recent estate sale or the local swapper: -

I disagree. I think the sabers and scabbards were mated after the sabers left service. -

Hi Ken, I attended a new Militaria fair local to me at Detling today (Kent wartime airfield). Lots of interesting kit on display for sale. I was tempted with a lovely WW2 USMC 2nd Division grouping, but just came away with a coupe of Leclerc postcards... the Jeeps sold them to me! No other Jeep parts unfortunately. A great social where I met up with may like-minded friends! (That was the best part!!) Cheers Graham -

Regarding the two small batteries, could they be BA-42 ? Thank you for your reply. -

You can also use the search on Ron Burkey’s site at Flying Tiger Antiques. He has a sold one shown that you can use for side by side comparison. John -

Looks like a good 1/5 helmet to me, but I consider @warguy the final word on these. He’ll be along shortly…
