I picked this group up at an Estate sale a few years back. The wings are a Balfour and a H&H. The collar insignia are Amico. The bracelet is pretty nice and brings it all together.

Hamilton Canteen watches in action in WW2. Read about 2000 of these Hamilton were manufactured wonder how many are left in collections. These photos are from 1943 so these watches might have been in use before 1944 most collectors think 1944 was when these watches were produced but the Navy wed site said 1943 for these photos. Bus went on to fly for Pan Am.  Bus was my father's best friend's uncle.  Bus gave his banner to my father's friend's widow.  She gave the banner to my father, who then gave it to me.  It will hang in my low-light living room next to my wooden Texas flag!!!

This is a very nice display with some great research done to honor the veteran. It should be noted that the jacket is what we call an ETO Jacket as it was made by the British as a reverse lend-lease item of clothing. It is quite interesting that while the British were making ETO jackets for Americans in theater, US textile mills were churning out British Battle Dress jackets and trousers for shipment to our allies in the ETO.   Allan

Thought I'd share a couple of happy snaps of our group's (Military Timeline Impressions - MTI) participation at the 2026 "Wings and Wheels Festival," Fairfield County Airport, SC last weekend.  A rather smallish turnout for us with only 5 members setting up displays.  Still, a great day with good crowds and weather! My compadre in the white tee got caught, like all of us, by the early rush when the gates opened and was slow in getting into his mufti after setting up - He was portraying a USN signalman and finally got a chance to finish dressing out!  The "Grasshopper" is owned and flown by one of our members who is home-based at the same airport. Anyway, my thanks to everyone here on USMF who've assisted me over the years in my own collecting.  My display of US Army WWII Infantry Battalion radios and other coms gear has been greatly advanced by your help!
