Hi Sol,   Yes that's the post war symbol used with post-war aid to European countries.   The Marshall plan ran from 1948 to 1951 to help the economic recovery of seventeen European countries.  If I recall another issue highlighted in the recent Oppenheimer film was a GMC I believe stencilled up on the rear ' Caution Left-Hand Drive ' obviously unneeded on a vehicle that only served in the United States and not shipped to the UK.    Norman D. Not a grouping I would buy as a lot.  Most of what I can see is quite questionable.  

Thank You everyone for all of your help.   Upon gaining further information from my dad. this IS NOT my grandma. It is her identical twin sister (they were truly identical their parents made them wear different color ribbons as kids to help tell them apart). her husband was in the Marines which would explain the Marine uniform.   thank you all for your help solving this family mystery for me
