Lots of "army surplus stores" nowadays sell a lot of modern tactical gear and other survival gear rather than military surplus. Wade -

I'm not going into that office. You got an SOF Op going on and I don't need to get caught in the middle. 😄 Excellent display. Semper Fi. Manny -

Thank you Lars. I humbly appreciate the recognition. I have to say I put my heart into this diorama. I just hope that I can help other modelers with my work. Just like you and Dennis. Thanks again. Semper Fi. Manny -

Originals would be less expenseve than a Repro, if any one made them. JMO there's so many out there. Get an original. -

I think I remember this guy from the Richmond gun shows. He was quite a character if it's the same guy I'm remembering. Always had on a Hawaian shirt. -

A very good explanation written above. Nice to have the document folded inside the medal case. -

okay thank you i would never claim it's original if i add something but i think i can find the right size as i already have a jacket with a logistics patch on it -

I understand where you are coming from. However.... You know the patch wasn't original to the jacket and you're not trying to fool anyone and as long as you're not claiming your creation to be something it's not, who cares. The patch can still removed and the jacket is still original to be used for a different form of display. Your real issue may be size, as we seem to be "bigger" in frame than they were back then. Make your project and wear it with pride. In the end, it's just clothing.
