Hey Skautdog. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get this video to the right size to be able to post it here. If you are comfortable with it, send me your email and I would be happy to share the video showing how easy it is to pop out wet plate images from their cases without damage. Take care! Paul

. Hi Johan,   yes you are right I think we see things like British made Carlisle pouches etc from 43 onwards but the map cases all seem to 1945 dates.   Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, 12 March  2O26.   ...   …

Early Division named Completion Shooting badges in Silver named to the same individual are not real common. Also if someone "researched" him and he had an interesting career it can add value or the buyer may have had other medals etc that were to the same Marine. Add in its ebay and the competition to win an item goes up and Im guessing the big bids were in the last few minutes or seconds of the auction. Also, with ebay I have seen more and more items not getting paid for or people having a ghost bidder running things up for them as well but as we notice ebay sales prices seems to be what people consider market price when its really just a case of tossing money at something until you win it. I have repeatedly stated that in today's collecting field its not what its "worth" it what someone will pay.    Looks like this is the same and was a Gunny Sgt that passed in 1949 and from Minnesota. Buried in San Diego . Had a son who also served in the Marine Corps with VMF 234 during Korea.      https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/3423885/dean-rosing-penley

A SUPER Nice custom rack on an AF blue jacket. The top row has been erroneously added as there is already a Nat. Def medal ribbon in the stack. The AF Commendation medal is out of order and precedence so it just makes it ugly. Not wild about the CIB. I believe the CIB is an addition as well and not kosher for the jacket. The Airman's Medal is quite a nice award to top it all off. Not many of those awarded.

Hello everybody. So on the bay there was 2 silver shooting badges. and they went for 1,282.00 WOW. Is there something special or have we gone crazy. I just can't understand the hike in this. Anybody know why. Or has bidding gotten out of hand. Thanks Jim

Thank you Steve.  My wife and I are Tinkerer's.  Only God could've arranged for me to meet and eventually marry the woman of my dreams.  She's amazing and one-of-a-kind.  I am so Blessed!  I've now lived in Oklahoma way longer than my home state of Arizona so I officially call myself an Okie.  Who'd have thought.
