Need help in identifying if this is indeed a type 3 patch from WWII. SELLER NOTE: It was on display in a military shop in Columbus, GA near Fort Benning until it closed in 1982. -

Here's a Pre-1942 US Navy button with a Frank Thomas Co. backmark. It also says made in England.
