Pic of USCG guys on Iwo Jima, while most don't have helmet covers, slits can be clearly seen on the helmet of the guy in the N1 cleaning his '03.    The guy at the the forefront of the pic with the very stretched cover seems to have no slits in his.

Patch is ironed on, which I wonder if it was an after thought.  No tag in pole sleeve. This is a small flag.  Thanks

Really cool flag! Seems its seen some use.   Is the patch sewed on or ironed on? Also, is there a tag inside the pole sleeve?

Young buck. I aint much older than you at all. In fact I turn 20 this year. But you need to learn a few things if your gonna survive in this hobby. Trust the older generation in this hobby. Most of them have been around longer then we have been alive. I know Mr Robert Wilson to a degree in real life along with many other men like Vince Milano and other wonderful guys in this hobby. I would not be in this hobby the way I am without there input. In fact with the ups and downs I have gone through I will say with men like them it has made it better. But again as men like them start to age out ( no offense) we need to step up and learn there ways of one seeing how much something is worth, 2 learning how beinf respectful can have you go a long way in this hobby, and 3 that we will someday be like them. I would learn to correct the attitude and learn a bit more before you go off on them or say something you will regret. I remember being your age too but I had many wonderful people to guide me such as teachers, mentors and when I started collecting men like then.    I do not wish to try and degrade, belittle, or be rude but that is just the truth in this hobby.    Best regards Maximus melton

D-Day medic because Conneaut is coming up quick and medics/aidmen are underrepresented in the hobby.
