An unusual World War II bring-back certificate documenting the transfer of a captured Mauser C96 pistol from one officer to another for delivery. Rather than authorizing the pistol to the officer who transported it home, the certificate records one officer receiving the weapon on behalf of another, making it a rarely encountered example of wartime capture documentation.
