Agree... Send the damaged ones as well.. If they have an archivist/curator they will know how to preserve/use the slides... Leigh -

I got these from a house clean out. Someone told me that they could be useful to military vehicle collectors? What do you think? -

I would appreciate some help identifying and dating these USMC rings. So far, I have managed to identify only one of them: 1.1942 Lone Ranger Marine Corps “secret compartment” ring 2. EGA ring — date unknown. It seems rather large for a women’s ring, but I have not come across this particular design in period photographs. 3. Tun Tavern 1775 - Iwo Jima 1945 ring, date unknown. I have seen this design before, but the stone is usually red, whereas mine is purple. I could not find any maker’s marks or hallmarks inside the rings. I would be grateful for any help in determining whether these rings are original and, if so, what period they date from. -

Anything Chaplain related when it comes to helmets or covers is not going to be cheap. A legitimate Vietnam Chaplain cover itself is going to run at least a couple of hundred dollars. If it is named it could easily go 500 to 1000. -
