Anything Chaplain related when it comes to helmets or covers is not going to be cheap. A legitimate Vietnam Chaplain cover itself is going to run at least a couple of hundred dollars. If it is named it could easily go 500 to 1000.

The 100 Franc notes appear to contradict what the information says as they say series of 1944 yet have FRANCE on the reverse, according to that info FRANCE didn't appear until 1945.........

. Hi Kevin,   thanks and very interesting , I was hoping to post some photos of some of the French ' invasion ' currency I have,  I think the ones I have, have the French flag on the reverse.  I recently had to pack away a lot of my collection pieces due to having telephone engineers working inside the house fitting fibre-optics and presently can't recall which carton I packed them in, hopefully I can return to doing this when I re-locate them.      Norman D. . Hi earlymb.   Thanks appreciated,  The US cans also have the earlier simple ' X ' shape pressed into the sides, however the Americans used spot welding to fix the handles and the spout to the body of the can, not welding as the German cans do.       Norman D.
