I didn't really have to "spy" too hard at this yard sale this morning.  This is what I saw when I walked down the driveway (see pictures).  Reasonable prices too!  If anyone is near Detroit, this yard sale is in Hazel Park, MI right off John R Road.  It's running through Saturday.    OD

Having said that, it dawned on me last night that this seat has been to NARF on a couple occasions.  I'm sure they don't have any records any longer, but that is one place i haven't tried.

I feel not only lucky but more honored.  Like I said, it was my dream to fly and especially a tomcat.   But it wasn't in the cards for me.  But to have this in my office, to look at it every day, to think about where it went, the men and woman involved with the Jets it was in is a great honor.  I love this country and proud of all who serve her and me!

I think what Scott C said is what’s important. It is a great find and the service life of this seat probably saw 8-12 different squadrons and who knows how many different bunos.     You are lucky to have the seat and I would love to have one.    Chris USN retired ATC(AW) F-14A Maintenance Control Chief.

Well, regardless of its history (found or not), it is a very nice find.

Anyone have an accurate price on this item?   Ive seen prices of 150 to 250 on ones that haven’t sold yet.    The 150 has some damage.   I appreciate the help.

. From my small Shoebox collection   rediscovered today a wedge of original 1945 Lubrication Charts for the quarter ton truck, these were intended to be folded in half and inserted in the 1944 TM9-903 Technical Manual which should be carried with each vehicle.  Published eighty-one years ago today 16 July 1945.  Note again no use of the word Jeep, only 1/4 ton truck Willys / Ford.        Norman D.
