Sure here are a few pics. Notice the mis-spelled “Shlvage” I think this diver was part of the failed recovery of the sunken “Hell Boat” in the Philippines in 1946. Many missing US Veterans are now being recovered there. Chris -

Fake stuff purchased by hopeful folks thinking they acquired a WWII uniform item is sad. But companies importing what is clearly fake WWII Nazi stuff and selling it as original is probably a crime and should be treated as such. -

Found in an antique store in Colorado. I didn't buy it but I thought it was interesting as I'd never seen one before. It's a leather tri-fold wallet with "HONORABLE DISCHARGE" in gold type. Has inside pockets for an ID card and "record of service." Opening up the tri-fold would allow a veteran to carry his discharge certificate or DD-214 (not sure if they called it that in WWII) with him. The size of the tri fold makes it small enough to fit in a vest pocket of a jacket. I presume a discharged service member would carry this around to prove that he was honorably discharged and not AWOL, or perhaps when applying for a post-discharge job. Anyway, I had just never seen one so I thought it was interesting. EDIT: Just realized this is probably posted in the wrong section. Can I delete this? -

Sure, but you didn't post this in that forum. I asked, what do YOU want to do with this item? -

Chris that Manila Ship Salvage Diver's buckle is amazing. Would you be willing to share a picture of that one alone? Thanks, Ryan -

I used to own this service coat years ago and rebought it from a fellow collector. I always like trying to find examples of CBI patches with the snaps on uniforms! Also picked up a unit history to the 1880th Engineer Aviation Battalion -

Is this an original WWII D-Bale paratrooper helmet? I know the exterior camo paint is post war, but what about the rest of the helmet? Thanks -
