We all know what a “normal” JPK looks like. No need to post a pic. Just check the rest of this thread. This one’s a little different. No fuller/blood groove. I’d always thought it was stamped in when the blade was punched out. Were they actually machined in later? That seems like an unnecessary step. But, here we have one without it. I don’t think it’s shroud of Turin rare. But, enough to pique my interest and buy it for a normal price. The sheath is sewn into the pocket. And the pocket has Molle attachments on the back. an interesting variation I thought. -

It was a great debate and I enjoyed the banter. As I said, I don't hate Grant, he did what he needed to do and what he was able to do, I just find him rather uninspiring as a leader. His best moment in my opinion was in the grace and dignity he showed during the surrender at Appomattox. Scott -

. When you know too much for your own good. . . . . . . . . . So Wednesday I stripped down and cleaned the internal jets of a friends Jeep carburettor, Today I demounted a friends Jeep petrol pump to find out why it's wasn't pumping satisfactorily, he has ordered a rebuild kit and now waiting for that, If the kit arrives Monday then it will be rebuilding and refitting it, Next week I will be visiting my old Slat Grille I owned and sold twenty years ago, current owner has asked for help as it's not starting currently, having no idea why it's not starting I will be taking a spare starter motor, a carburettor, points, plugs and condenser along with me just in case it's any of these that's impeding the starting procedure, obviously I will learn more when I see it. An old phrase from years gone by comes to mind, ' I wish I had a friend like me ' !!!!!! Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, 10 July 2O26. .. -

No idea who is on the left! Trying to find more info on his service etc. he passed away in 1960 when my mom and siblings were young! -

History, I do not wish to be derogatory but that may be one of the worst ways possible to display a mask for long time preservation. I would recommend a partial of full face form not made of Styrofoam or if so covered with nylon. Masks are very prone to deterioration due to poor storage, UV light, heat etc. with better fotos I can assist with identification. Cheers Armygas -

Highly recommend this show for any US military insignia collector. Have been member of ASMIC for 55 years and have attended countless shows over the years including the SOS and ASMIC. Believe this show in many ways is better and more enjoyable and easier to attend than the SOS. If you collect patches this is the show to go to. You will not be disappointed in the selection and should be able to fill some long wanted and rare items. You literally have some of the most highly respected dealers and collectors in the nation attending this show and the knowledge you can gain is invaluable. Stop by and say hello at my table.
