The other 5x9.5 casket/storm flag with the riveted grommets/loops is identical to these flags, however mine has no makers or size stamps -

Here’s another great 1st Infantry Division pocket patch featuring “The Flying Best” that came on a nice OG 107 shirt I found a few weeks ago. -

Others may chime in but in my opinion I'd say that particular item doesn't have too much value. The collector/s for that would be limited I believe, therefore it also limits the value of such. It does have some value as military associated ephemera and the fact it amazingly has an original pencil attached has that going for it. I'll let some other folks comment as to value and we'll see what they say. -

I should also note, the big flag seems to have been washed sometime just before I bought it. It has a flowerly and fruity smell. seems to me It may have been machine washed/dried by the previous owner. That may have affected the qualities of fabric from it's original form especially if it's vintag. -

Yes, I'd say despite not having photos you have quite a bit of information so that's good. Take care...Matt -

Pic 1: Rope and markings on big flag. Pic 2: the smaller "storm/casket" flag compared to the big flag, I thought the big flag was wool now I'm not sure, the big flag flabric seems thinner, it has much courser/rougher feel. The weave a lot looser compared to the smaller flag, the canton is multi-piece construction.
