Pic 1: Rope and markings on big flag.   Pic 2: the smaller "storm/casket" flag compared to the big flag, I thought the big flag was wool now I'm not sure, the big flag flabric seems thinner, it has much courser/rougher feel. The weave a lot looser compared to the smaller flag, the canton is multi-piece construction. 

That’s sad, but no problem at all; thanks to you, I’ve already made a lot of progress. I was hoping to find a photo of both soldiers as well, but had no luck there. I’ve managed to find many records like this—usually with a photo included—but the information itself is just as interesting. Thank you.

Thank you for your input I greatly appreciate it. I’m just trying to make sure that this isn’t a put together grouping and that it’s all original and untouched. The group also includes dog tags, couple photos, documents and a journal. It’s my friends group that he purchased from a dealer website online and he is selling it to me so just wanting the all clear before I buy it, the IKE sadly has no name inside. 

I have no idea what any of this is about, but I’m happy to hear all about it. Go ahead and post away. Just be sure to post more puppies in Jeep pictures 😁.  My boys love to see them.  mikie
