By the way the cord appears to be silver and black. I assume for Warrant Officer. -

As Mario mentioned 1733 belonged to Bieg, Frederick C., Commander, USN, died October 14, 1909. He is listed in the Taps section of a reprint of: Historical sketch, constitution, and register of the Military order of the Carabao together with songs that have been sung at "wallows" in various places. The book lists 1,800+ numbers in alphabetical order. Bill -

He's got a crazy collection and an awesome guy. Bought plenty from his catalog over the years. FYI to Hayes newcomers...don't mention politics on the phone if you don't want an earful🤣. He definitely will have a thought or two, and you best have VERY thick skin. Man I wish I could get up to Montana to visit! -

Here is a #6 and a couple 7s that sold on eBay in the past few years. There are more than 3 people trying to sell flags for over $2K no size 7 has sold for that much in 3 years. The prices shown are actually sold prices from the past 3 years. -

Very much outside my wheelhouse, have had it for a while but plan on moving it along. All wool bunting made by Annin, is about 2 1/2 by 4 feet and has visible stains on the grommets. Has many small holes. -

Now this is the kind of cool, and unusual stuff, we here get to learn about on this forum and not many other places. I will be following along, I have NO idea on this, to see what may be found out about this interesting item. Such a great place to be able to come together and get ideas/pointers/knowledge from others to learn about all of the usual, not so usual, and downright obscure items that are still out there from out military past.
