Davis Valerie would most likely be a man however Valerie Davis ie….DAVIS, Valerie would be most likely a woman. FWIW, I was trained to put last name first, then first name and middle initial on my clothing…….that said once away from training you were free to do pretty much like you wanted….depending on unit SOP and how closely they checked up on your doings. -

Our M1909 Armleder ambulance wagon, it is currently being fully restored. In addition, you can see another chassis and wheels for the M1909 made by Studebaker. That one is for sale or trade if anyone is interested. Scott -

I thought it odd too. But they did wear USMC uniforms with navy rates. My guess is its a veteran's made jacket. Thanks -
