wOOt! I'm back! Apparently I was banned from visiting the forum for some 10 days. No idea why. Also back from a extremely hot weekend in Germany, visiting the Panzer museum in Munster, Gedenkstatte Bergen-Belsen and the Helicopter museum in Buckeburg. On the way over we also stopped at the Memory Libration Museum in Nijverdal. I got a bellyful of WW2 Armor and the complete abridged history of helicopters. Not to mention a metric tonne of schnitzel, pizza, meat platters and apfelschorle. -

Attached to a 69 dated M65 the vets sister sold it to me.. her brother “wore this in Vietnam “…. I like the look… has that John Rambo vibe is attached to the left shoulder does the flag look theater made? -

Here is an Army 3" HE that had rust as severe as your lower picture. I did not want to damage the yellow paint. It worked. Also, be sure to dry throughly ( I put out in sun) then coat with Renaissance museum wax. I coat ALL my examples with the wax.
