Hello everyone,  These are the discharge papers of a WWII AAF gunner, the paper is from 1951. The soldiers ribbon bar has an Air Medal ribbon but his discharge papers do not show him as a recipient of the Air Medal, I also can’t find any information online about him ever receiving the air medal. I’m a little confused on this and would like some opinions, is the ribbon bar tampered with? I had also noticed that there was an air crew badge rather than a gunner badge on the jacket as well.

Before starting his Cal Aero schools, Moseley had his Grand Central Flying School.  Per an "Air Corps News Letter", LeBailly graduated from Kelly Field on March 23, 1940.  From a different "Air Corps News Letter" the 30 graduates from the Grand Central Flying School's class of 40-D next went to Randolph Field.  This News Letter also noted that Moseley gave some of his students "Honor Graduate" diplomas, so it is likely LeBailly did attend the Grand Central Flying School, and it is possible Moseley gave his top pilot graduate(s) such presentation wings.   Grand Central Flying School did become the Cal-Aero Corporation.

Looking for Lt Neill S. Walkers footlocker with his uniforms and flight logbook. He was shot down and killed on 12/15/43 in Italy. His footlocker with his belongings was returned home to his parents in either 1944 or early 1945. It is thought that the footlocker and his belonging were sold at his father's estate sale back in the early 1970s. they lived in Lesslie SC, which is near to Rock Hill SC. I am a family member, and I will pay collector price to get it back. I am withholding some details. I have a content list from the US military as to what was in his footlocker.

Not sure how I even came across this but glad I did, Dmar if you ever fancy making one of these again with a loop, I’m all ears. Would much rather a work of art than a mass produced reproduction.

Hello! Does anyone here know what my IOTV Gen 1 Vest may be missing or what could be wrong with it? The left shoulder is Velcro, and there’s no way I can see to fasten it to the rest of the vest when assembling it. If it’s missing a part, where could I find a replacement part?   It has this string that looks like someone tied to it in an attempt to fix that. I've tried using the string to fasten it, but it comes loose when I take off the vest.  I don’t know a lot about IOTV vests, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I can also provide better photos if needed.
