Hello! Does anyone here know what my IOTV Gen 1 Vest may be missing or what could be wrong with it? The left shoulder is Velcro, and there’s no way I can see to fasten it to the rest of the vest when assembling it. If it’s missing a part, where could I find a replacement part? It has this string that looks like someone tied to it in an attempt to fix that. I've tried using the string to fasten it, but it comes loose when I take off the vest. I don’t know a lot about IOTV vests, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I can also provide better photos if needed. -

This is the only one for general US military. There was a US helmet one but I am not sure that is active anymore. There is werhmacth awards, but that has had problems. German helmet walhalla is also pretty good. There are numerous hatebook groups active. One must be careful over there because some are run and moderated (not just frequented by) by notorious fraudsters. -

Just looking for any good ones (like this forum ) to join. I already am a member of the warrelics forum. I'm interested in almost anything but focus on mostly field gear, Uniforms, helmets and related items. -

Another amazing find, Ben! Either you beat the "bushes" really hard in your part of the Hoosier state or you just have incredible luck at finding some real gems. Super nice bring back Luger. All I have is a bring back with no name that was made in the inter-war years. They are FUN to shoot though! -

Great grouping and outstanding historical research and write up. Thanks for sharing just one, of millions, of men and women who won the war and liberated Europe from Nazi tyranny. Thank the good Lord that we had such men, of the Greatest Generation, who went to free the world from such evil. May his story be forever told so that his buddies who were lost and himself not be forgotten for future generations. For they are the shoulders we stand on now and are forever grateful. -

👍 Yep. You beat me to it. The movie title is also the name of a book by one of the “Jill’s”, Carole Landis. It’s about their USO tour. I have a copy of it somewhere. -
