Thank you, sir. I couldn’t agree more. The Korean War is absolutely wild to learn about and frankly, the combat conditions of Korea were anywhere from trench warfare to urban combat. We frequently learn about the Banzai attacks in the Pacific but seldom do we hear about the massive wave attacks in Korea. -

Flea market finds of the day! -Laundry numbered dress jacket, found some goodies found in the pocket. The sleeve patch was taken off sadly. -Vietnam KIA presidential letter, can’t find much on him, John J. Hopeck. -Named Luftwaffe visor, insignia was taken off at some point. Not an expert on German stuff, not sure if it’s air crew, signals, or FJ. I wonder if the name can be researched to! -Dust goggles, desert storm era -Daisy western cap gun -Homefront 40s/50s USPS winter cap with the cool numbered badge -SEAL insignia Was a great and fun day to find some militaria! -

Thanks for the comment, possibly what may have happened but that little rivet seems like it has been there a long time based upon the rust or patina. Regards -

Two great USMC groups. Korea is often overlooked by a lot of collectors and very undervalued. -

We have to remember that we are the experts on this military stuff. Most sellers on eBay are just trying to make a few bucks (I’m all for it and a capitalist for life). Most try to do the best they can and are not trying to rip anyone off. The AI descriptions don’t help either for the most part. Good job on the seller for stepping up, exactly what I suspected. eBay still has some awesome stuff but be your own fiduciary and do your homework. -
