I believe this should answer your question regarding what unit Robert E Wales was in the Korean War. Note:  Per his obituary, he grew up in Jackson Summit, PA.  In the newspaper article it shows him being of Millerton, PA.  Millerton, PA is 5 miles away from Jackson Summit, PA so I'm about 99.9% sure this is your guy.                  Ancestry - Robert Eugene Wales.pdf Class Photo - Robert E Wales.pdf

Hi, I was doing some research on these post-WWII wool pants I picked up as part of a lot of clothing. Can someone help me to better understand them? I think they are 1948 dated US Army M-1945 Wool Field Trousers in 18 oz. Shade OD-33, and made in Frankfurt am Main in Germany.    Am I correct? Are these desirable for military collectors? I'm looking to sell them to buy something else that I collect more.

I was issued this desert camo set along with 3 sets of DBDU (Chocolate Chips) for deployment on Bright Star 1987, Jordan and Egypt.  The temperature difference between day time and night made this outfit a welcome piece of kit.  Wore the parka quite a bit the trousers only on guard mount or to the shower point.  I still have them as part of my desert camo collection.  Cheers Armygas

. Hi aerial bridge,   Thanks,  this is about twenty miles from my house, I can't think of anyone looking for a Jeep presently, but on the same auction there is a Nash 600 car for sale I have forwarded this onto a friend that has started to consider buying a staff car.        Norman D. Found a similar tag with the same Addressograph text. My Addressograph dog tag machine had a blank data tag in the lower pan with identical stamping.
