Yes,, occasionally, and I might add the troops themsevles when on a pass in the theater, not just England but in France, Italy, behind the lines, way behind the lines, places like Naples, Rome, etc, Paris, this of course after these places were liberated, but not in Gdermany while the war was on going in 1945, passes were taken in France or Belgium, -

Didn't the military police corps also wear the 4 pocket tunic and full dress uniform while overseas on base when on duty? -

Thanks for the information and photos. Do you know what the soldier's gear in the first photo was using? In the second photo (Anti Aircraft Battery), did the soldier's just wear a cartridge belt and gas mask bag? What other web gear would the soldier wear (if they do)? Any idea is the gas mask bag was required to be worn? Many thanks -

Thank you for your opinion on this :)) I bought it and the seller said, he would ship it Monday :) I am really stoked about this as I never thought, I would own one ☺️ Concerning the replacement of the nametag: Wouldn't it be impossible to find out the original wearer's name? It appears to have been the early black on white printed tape (maybe it was the embroidered one, but I will not know until I have it in my hands), so there will not have been any pressing through... Cheers, Jules
