FYI...In the 1950 Census that I included from Ancestry.com I don't think that Ford Wilson is your Ford Wilson. That one is from Pineville, Kentucky and yours is not. The rest of the Census records I believe are correct. Sometimes Ancestry throws in the incorrect person with the same name. So that's just the 1950 one that you should throw out. -

I did some research that pointed to the knife possibly inventoried to the Communications & Navigation personnel. I guess this could include the ship's Quartermasters, Signalmen, and Radiomen? -

Her two WAC uniforms. And her USMC WOMENS AUXILIARY uniform(missing the belt). I have two sets of USMC dress blues that came with her uniforms. One is named to a Ray Reddinger(WW2). Another is named to a L.A. MIHALCIN 2nd MARINE Division. I don't know if they were brother, husband. Included is the insert for her WAC purse. And her gloves. One looks cut out for her watch. The tie came with the uniform. It's post WW2. It's the way it came so that's the way I left it. Thanks. -

Is there enough information here to find out more about the veteran? I don’t have a serial number, his first name, rank or laundry number and not sure what these other numbers are? Is 7111 where he enlisted? RC Reserve Commission? Any help would be appreciated. -
