I wasn't expecting you to rush round and take a picture or two, just if you had one already or next time you're there. I already figured you might be quite busy with D day stuff , oh and I meant to say please,...... honestly🙏

. Hahahhaaa,  How about you hand paint the Golden Gate Bridge with a two inch brush . . . . . .    I will see what I can do next week when things hopefully calm down a bit. Just off to meet five British WWII veterans on tour all paid for by London Black taxi cabs.       Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, 05 June  2O26.   ..

Hi, might be a little late to the oarty, but here goes: I do not think, that this is a trial or precursor of the jubgle jackets. The trial versions I have seen, looked like the 3rd pattern, but with shoulder loops and a belt (kind of like on your example). Apart from that snd the material, it looked like a 3rd pattern. Maybe you are talking about another trial piece. If so, I would love to see a pic :)) I attached a photo from omega militaria, who currently have a trial jacket for sale :))   Cheers, Jules   PS: Outstanding collection! Collecting Special Forces jackets is kind of a so-so field for me as there are too many fakes out there, but you seem to have always picked the original ones! :))  I will be getting a first pattern Special Forces jacket in the following week, so I am looking forward to that :))

It seems I have a history of having people get excited by my fashion sense. I bought this shirt at the 2007 Spacefest space buff convention in Arizona. The art was created by artist Kim Poor who was one of the event organizers. A few years ago I wore it when I attended my next Spacefest. Kim passed away the year before, and a number of attendees, including some space scientists and a couple of astronauts complimented me on wearing the shirt in honor of Kim. To be honest, I hadn’t really thought of that angle when I decided to wear the shirt. But it worked out well.  mikie
